KIT BUILD

Join us for a family-friendly volunteer event to benefit our neighbors
experiencing homelessness

This event has ended!

WHAT IS A HYGIENE KIT?

A hygiene kit contains basic hygiene items that provide our neighbors experiencing homelessness with tools to maintain their health and sense of dignity.

Join us on Saturday, March 14 from 11am to 2pm to build hygiene kits, write notes of encouragement for recipients, and hear from speakers about how we can all advocate for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Our kits will be distributed by NoHo Home Alliance.

This is a family-friendly volunteer event. All ages and genders are welcome and encouraged to attend.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

WHAT CAN I BRING TO THE EVENT?

Instead of bringing physical product donations to the event, we are asking guests to donate to help us buy supplies. This way, we are able to get the correct ratio of items requested by our non-profit partner and benefit from wholesale pricing. Our kits include highly requested items like shampoo, conditioner, soap, socks, toothbrushes and socks. Each kit costs $5 to assemble.

Donations we are accepting on 3/14:

  • Oatmeal

  • Coffee

  • Sugar

  • Quart & Gallon-sized Ziplock bags

  • Packaged food items for bagged lunches [individual bags of chips, individually packaged cookies, gatorade, granola bars]

  • New or gently-used clean casual men's clothing & shoes (jeans, t-shirts, especially shoes size 12+)

We cannot accept items that are not on this list.
Thank you for understanding!

WHERE DO THE KITS GO?

Our hygiene kits will be donated to
