We're organizing volunteers to sort clothing donations and raising money to stock Santee Education Complex's free clothing closet with hygiene supplies.

Santee Education Complex is an LAUSD high school in South Central Los Angeles where 98.3% of the students qualify as socioeconomically disadvantaged.


In collaboration with Santee's Psychiatric Social Work team, we are stocking their new clothing closet with hygiene supplies and menstrual products. These products will be provided for free to all students and their families.

Every student should have access to basic hygiene supplies and menstrual products so that they can focus on their education... and being a kid!

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

DONATE

Your donation will supply menstrual products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo & conditioner including black hair care products for students and families

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are needed to help organize and hang clothing donations during the school day from May 16 - May 30. Masks are required.

SO, THERE'S NO HYGIENE KIT BUILDING PARTY?

Unfortunately, no.

We simply did not have the capacity to organize an in-person event this year, BUT we always encourage you to host your own Hygiene Kit Build using our handy guide.
