resisterhoodLA is a 100% volunteer-run 501c3 non-profit that produces thoughtfully curated volunteer events that connect and serve the Los Angeles community. We want to create inclusive spaces, accessible & welcoming to everyone.
Established in 2016, resisterhoodLA launched as a way to introduce folks to volunteering with a wide variety of non-profits & causes.
Since 2019, we have focused on one cause: homelessness. By partnering with local non-profits doing direct outreach and inviting people with lived experience to share their stories, we give volunteers a comprehensive understanding of housing & homelessness issues and empower them to participate in local solutions.
